Infant Programs
- younger than 18 months
Begin your child’s first steps toward learning with Harmonyhills’ structured infant program. In the warm and nurturing environment, we provide, your child will experience a harmony of love, curiosity, joy, and exploration.
In our infant program, we maintain a ratio of one dedicated teacher for every three infants to foster close bonds with each child. Our program is designed to provide a sense of stability and warmth, similar to a home environment, with the priority of ensuring a smooth transition from home to the centre.
The core of our infant program is collaboration with parents. Through smooth communication with parents, our teachers will care for each child according to their individual routines and needs. For infants, experience is a crucial stimulant. Our program focuses on stimulating development by allowing children to explore and satisfy their curiosity and needs through sensory experiences. In a loving and comfortable atmosphere, Harmonyhills’ educators will engage in thoughtful interactions with the children, ensuring that every experience is harmonious and enjoyable.
- 18months up to 30 months
Toddler programs
Join Harmonyhills’ vibrant toddler program. Every day will unfold in a harmonious environment filled with opportunities for growth, learning, exploration, and play.
In the toddler program, we maintain a ratio of one teacher for every five toddlers to meet each child’s individual needs and provide attentive care. Our priority is to help children explore the new world beyond their parents and home, while learning the fundamentals of social interaction.
During the toddler years, children actively engage in exploration and activities that satisfy their curiosity and promote robust development, both physically and cognitively. They also experience increased learning in terms of language and emotional growth, gaining more autonomy. To support this, we use a curriculum based on a combination of Montessori and Reggio Emilia, aimed at boosting children’s confidence and fostering holistic development. Our goal is to prepare them for preschool with a foundation of independence. Our educators work collaboratively to flexibly combine indoor and outdoor activities, providing tailored experiences that meet each child’s developmental needs and requirements.
Preschool Programs
- 30 months up to 44 months
Harmonyhills’ preschool program focuses on the importance of key developmental periods, helping every child gain confidence and engage in the right learning and experiences tailored to them. In the comfortable and vibrant environment we provide, children will experience a harmony of creativity, the joy of learning, and the enhancement of their abilities.
In the preschool program, we maintain a ratio of one teacher for every eight children to ensure their safety and accommodate individual needs. This is a time when children’s cognitive and behavioral horizons expand significantly, so our priority is to create a safe environment where they can experience and learn from a wide range of activities.
Preschool children develop more advanced physical abilities and experience rapid growth in language skills compared to toddlers. Their imagination and creativity flourish, and they begin to interact with friends through play, enhancing their ability to understand and empathize with others’ feelings. Our program recognizes the importance of providing activities that align with these developmental stages. We offer engaging play and activities that children enjoy, such as role-playing, auditory stimulation and experiences, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and both small and large group activities. By learning and experiencing at their own pace, children build foundational skills in mathematics, creativity, language, and social interaction, preparing them for the next stages (JK/SK) and future development transitions.
JK/SK Programs
- 44 months up to 6 years
Harmonyhills’ school-age program has a primary goal of helping children gain confidence and joy in learning. They will learn the right methods suited to them and develop intellectual habits in preparation for entering school. In the challenging and opportunity-rich environment we provide, children will experience a harmony of rules, a sense of achievement, and an increase in self-esteem.
In the JK/SK program, we prioritize creating a safe environment while maintaining a ratio of one teacher for every twelve children to ensure a comfortable and free atmosphere. Our focus is on providing an environment where children can learn social skills such as rules and ethics, while enhancing their abilities across various domains.
JK/SK children are ready to explore the world. Their interactions with the surrounding environment become more active, and a desire for self-actualization emerges. Accordingly, our program lays the foundation for school and lifelong learning while encouraging a positive attitude. Montessori activities become increasingly complex and abstract as students grow. Educators respond to the individual needs of students while allowing creative freedom, which helps enhance self-esteem. Our students engage in self-directed activities in a non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere, receiving guidance and instruction in a variety of educational activities, including art, indoor and outdoor physical activities, drama, reading, computers, and science.
- Grade 1 up to grade 8 (Primary school aged: 6-12)
AFTER SCHOOL
Harmonyhills Centre offers after-school care services for children aged 6 to 12 years.
Our program is designed around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to provide a variety of experiential activities. We conduct indoor and outdoor play regardless of the season to support children’s multifaceted development, focusing on physical activities for development, arts and drama play for creativity and imagination, reading, sensory play, board games, assembly and construction, along with homework assistance and academic support. Additionally, we respect each student’s individual freedom by providing a flexible schedule and a quiet environment.
In our after-school program, children can make new friends in a joyful and nurturing environment while enhancing their confidence and mental, cognitive, and physical development, allowing them to conclude each day in an energetic and safe manner.
